We’re really pleased to share that Heritage Traction Preservation is now formally associated with The Railcar Association.
The Railcar Association does a huge amount of work behind the scenes to support the preservation and operation of historic railcars across the UK. From technical advice and maintenance guidance through to bringing together owners and preservation groups, it’s an incredibly valuable resource for anyone involved in keeping these vehicles going.
For us, this is a genuinely important step. As we continue work on our fleet, being part of the Railcar Association gives us access to a depth of experience and knowledge that simply can’t be found in one place elsewhere. It also means we’re joining a wider community of people who care just as much as we do about doing things properly and preserving these vehicles for the long term.
We’re looking forward to working alongside other members, sharing knowledge, and playing our part within the railcar preservation scene. Collaboration is key in preservation, and we’re proud to be involved with an organisation that reflects that.
